Now this is an injustice.
How the hell can one of the best songs of the year chart dismally on it’s digital release then still only manage to JUST crack the top 40 on it’s physical release.
It’s shocking the amount of shit that sells really well (here’s looking at you The Wanted) but songs like “BOMD” get sorely overlooked.
I swear if Cher Lloyd’s shit scores a number one I’ll want a full investigation.
SAD FACE.
To think I once loved them.
So those of you who know me well recognise that throughout 2010 I raved about how The Wanted were the next best boyband since Backstreet Boys, I went to see them in concert back in March and it was amazing.
I catch wind that they’re releasing a new single and I get uber excited only to find it’s a shitty, poorly produced dance track reminiscent of the bull that the likes of JLS or Inna would release.
To soften the blow they release their live version of the beautiful “Iris” as a bonus track on the single which I was pleasantly surprised at as they did it justice on the tour however what I can’t understand is its ability to sell over 50,000 copies. That is many shades of wtf.
And apparently their next single is “something a boy band would never have thought to release” unless it’s some sexy, mid 90s trip-hop, I’m not interested.
Olly Murs’ music video for ‘Heart Skips A Beat’
The song is featuring Rizzle Kicks.
Unlike Leona’s new track - this is actually quite good. Reminds me of the 90s.
New attitude Pixie? Seems the same to me!
The song is like a dance remix of your typical Pixie Lott track.
It isn’t bad.
The dancing however is AMAZING.
